Choose Your Path
Our fully online, asynchronous prerequisite courses offer two pathways that allow you to start at any time from any location. All of our SLP Online courses are certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
To begin your career as a speech-language pathologist, a master's degree and clinical certification by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) are required. Our speech-language pathology (SLP) online prerequisite courses are offered every semester, allowing you to complete the prerequisites required for admission to a graduate program in communication sciences and disorders.
Students on the SLPA pathway are provided with the quality online coursework to prepare them for successfully obtaining the ASHA SLP-A certification! The speech-language pathology assistant (SLPA) pathway can be completed in as few as three semesters, finishing with the SLPA course offered each spring. The pathway prepares students for ASHA’s SLPA exam and to possibly enter the field as an SLPA.
Requirements in some states do not align with the SLP Online SLP-A Pathway coursework we offer; therefore, admission is determined on a state-by-state basis.
Check state-by-state disclosures.
