Piano Pedagogy

Bachelor of Arts in Visual and Performing Arts, Concentration in Music

You'll develop strong performance skills and have opportunities to apply teaching skills to applied piano in individual and group settings, interning at the local schools and churches, serving as a section leader or student conductor, by leading a student ensemble, or by creating a student band.

Career Paths

You'll be well-equipped to perform in varied settings, including 

  • Teaching in independent teaching studios, community music and preparatory schools
  • Pursue graduate studies in piano pedagogy or performance
