Game shows strive on using entertainment value, bright lights, and elaborate sets to entice players and the audience to participate. However, they are much more than that. They are in-depth mathematical applications that make the contestants feel the rush of success while still holding the advantage. In this talk, we will discuss the mechanics behind some of your favorite game shows and the mathematical analysis that goes into moving from just a player to a BIG WINNER!
