Campus Initiatives

The Office of Sustainability provides guidance and works collaboratively as a catalyst for change to foster a culture of sustainability that encompasses environmental, social, and economic stewardship.

This office oversees the development and implementation of the university’s sustainability goals and policies, works to expand the integration of sustainability best practices into campus operations, and pursues grant funding for projects. The Office of Sustainability strives to increase the awareness of sustainability-related issues by engaging students, organizations, personnel, and the community through event planning, program development, internships, outreach opportunities, presentations, and campus tours. In addition, this office manages the campus-wide recycling program.
