Graduate Research Opportunities

Hands-On Research 

Research is an active part of the academic coursework within the CSD program where hands-on research experience is provided through graduate-level course work and multiple research opportunities across a variety of topics.

Thesis or Project

Students may choose to pursue a master’s thesis or work collaboratively with peers to gain experience preparing and conducting a research project to develop skills in systematic inquiry for both clinical practice and clinical research.

Awards

Longwood students have been successful recipients of awards at the Speech-Language-Hearing-Association of Virginia annual student poster contest.
