Dig for the past in one of Longwood's most popular courses, Archaeology in England. Regularly offered over winter break you and your friends can explore England through the eyes of archaeology and anthropology from 5,000 years before the present to 1500 AD.

Conduct research at the British Museum and The Institute of Archaeology and University College London; perform on-site examination of archaeological and historical materials at prehistoric Silbury Hill, West Kennet Long Barrow and Stonehenge.; explore the Roman period at Caburn, an Iron Age Hill Fort, the town of Glynde and Lewes Castle; observe Medieval lifestyles and culture along the Thames River in London and Greenwich.
