Program
The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program is a four-year program geared toward first-time, full-time, freshman students. A unique feature to the BSN program at Longwood University is that students are directly admitted into the nursing program as freshmen.
Our academics, laboratory and clinical work are integral components of the BSN program. The blend of classroom theory, and applied simulated and hands-on clinical experiences will introduce you to the real world of healthcare and you'll learn

Approved by the Virginia Board of Nursing and State Council of Higher Education in Virginia (SCHEV) the BSN program includes the essential content recommended by the American Association of Colleges of Nursing.
