BE Involved, Connected, Impactful.
“I enjoyed learning about my son’s university and developing a connection to the institution. I felt that my involvement in the parents council helped me communicate and relate to my son while he attended Longwood.” – Alison K.
Your student has no doubt become more independent now that they're in college, but they still need your involvement and support. The Longwood Parents Council is one way to stay connected to your student while giving them the space they need to stretch their wings.
Council members also have special access to campus activities, giving them an insider's perspective on the Longwood student experience and the opportunity to provide input.
“Parent's Council provides a different perspective of things happening at the University. College is an investment and having a say in things that impact the campus community is an honor. The opportunity to interact with faculty and staff has been such a privilege.” –Kathleen G.
