Best thing about Longwood?

Being able to connect with my teachers and meet with them one on one if I was having trouble with something in class.

One professor who you couldn’t have done it without?

Patti Carey, executive director of the McGaughy Professional Development and Internship Center, helped me learn proper business etiquette, how to be professional and what it takes to perform well at an internship.

One unforgettable experience you had at Longwood?

Achieving my goal of running the 800 meters in under 2 minutes. Being a men’s track and field student athlete meant everything to me because I was able to continue to do what I love throughout college. It helped me make so many new friends and now I have a lifelong network of people I can rely on.

Longwood in three words?

Adventurous. Fulfilling. Impactful.

I am ready for career success because…

I’m a confident professional and I’ve learned to always do your best with every opportunity presented to you.

What’s next after graduation?

I am going to work for Dominion Energy in Richmond as an associate cyber compliance analyst. I will be working on employee training, as well as on big projects for the future. I interned there last summer so I’m excited to get to work there full-time.
