Best thing about Longwood?

That it is small enough that you can walk almost anywhere you need to go, but big enough that I am constantly meeting new people.

One professor who you couldn’t have done it without?

It’s really impossible to narrow it down to just one. I feel as though every faculty member in the nursing department has been able to help me in some way. They want to see us do well in our profession and therefore they provide us the appropriate tools to help us be successful.

One unforgettable experience you had at Longwood?

Oktoberfest. I really enjoy all of the Oktoberfest traditions every year and seeing the people who come to campus to experience it.

Longwood in three words?

Exciting. Limitless. Rewarding.

I am ready for career success because…

Longwood taught me that it’s okay to fall down, as long as you get back up and keep trying and working toward your goal. I had a setback and I learned how to pick myself back up, which wasn’t easy. But I had more than enough help from my friends and professors.
