As we say hello to 2017, here are just a few of the memorable social media posts from the Longwood community over the past year.

The Longwood community eagerly anticipated hosting the 2016 U.S. Vice Presidential Debate... and it was this moment when things got real.

Longwood held it’s first-ever day of giving celebration and the Lancer family showed their support. The countdown has already started for 2017.
12. Welcoming the class of 2021
#Longwood21 acceptance letters are out, and as usual, the recipients are quite excited about joining the Lancer family in fall of 2017.
13. Stand back; science is happening
At Longwood, every student has the opportunity to engage in undergraduate research.
14. Virginia Children’s Book Festival
In its third year, the Virginia Children's Book Festival brought over 7,000 children from all over Virginia to Longwood’s campus to hear from their favorite authors and illustrators—including a 2016 National Book Award winner and a 2016 Newbery Medal winner.
