After forming the longest line in the history of the G.A.M.E.—it stretched from the Health & Fitness Center down Brock Commons, past the Ruffner Fountain to High Street and then up the hill to Jarman Auditorium—more than 2,100 excited students got their hands on the latest edition of the traditional Longwood scarf. President W. Taylor Reveley IV, his wife, Marlo and their 3-year-old twins led the marchers on the 1.5-mile journey to the Longwood Athletics Complex.
This year saw a new element emerge: the Lancer Sprit Wagon, a golf cart chock full of goodies, tattoos and giveaways. Faculty and staff volunteers took the Spirit Wagon up and down the massive line spreading the Longwood spirit for several hours.
Below is a social media compilation of this spirited annual event.
