Longwood University and Appomattox Court House National Historical Park are teaming up again to host the 15th Annual Civil War Seminar on Saturday, March 15.
The seminar, free and open to the public, begins at 9 a.m. in Longwood’s Jarman Auditorium. Speakers include Gordon Rhea, author of six award-winning books on General Ulysses S. Grant’s 1864 Overland Campaign, as well as fellow historian-authors Stephen Engle, Kevin Levin, Brian Wills and Eric Wittenberg. This year’s theme is "1864."
