Alumni from the Longwood University College of Business and Economics are hitting the links for a golf tournament that will provide networking opportunities and a chance to support the university.
The tournament, held at The Crossings Golf Club in Glen Allen, Va., will be Friday, Oct. 25, at 9 a.m. Contests, including a hole-in-one challenge, begin at 9:30 a.m. and rounds begin at 11:30 a.m. The full day of golf will conclude with a 19th hole networking event at 5 p.m. in the clubhouse. The tournament costs $100 per person and includes 18 holes, golf cart, beverages and snacks, entrance to the networking event, entry in the hole-in-one challenge and various awards.
The Crossings Golf Club is consistently ranked one of the best public courses in Virginia and has held several top-level events, including qualifying for the U.S. Amateur Public Links Championship and Nike Tour.
