University Master Plan

Longwood University commenced work on a new University Master Plan in September 2014 with a planning consultant team led by Cooper Robertson of New York City.  The primary purpose of this new Master Plan is to guide the development of Longwood’s campus to support approximately 6,000 students by the year 2025, with an extended consideration of the Longwood campus as far as the year 2039.  The new plan retains the successful aspects of the current Master Plan while enhancing Longwood’s sense of community and livability, the beauty of the campus, and the institution’s economic, social, and environmental sustainability.
