The Longwood Therapeutic Recreation students learn how to use a wide range of therapeutic activity and community-based interventions and techniques to promote health and wellness for people with and without disabilities and/or illnesses.

Through academic coursework and fieldwork experiences, students learn to implement an evidence-based practice that utilizes recreation to achieve positive outcomes.
