Application Deadline

Fall new students will submit the housing and meal application online through the student housing gateway beginning in April.  Students will receive an email with instructions to complete the housing application once it is available.

Spring new students must complete a housing and meal plan application through the student housing gateway.

The housing application is available beginning on November 4.

Application Preferences

Students can do the following on the Housing Application:

  • Preference at least 3 buildings
  • Select a meal plan
  • Submit roommate information

Roommate Preferences

On the Housing Application students may choose to:

Answer a roommate survey and be paired with another student by the RCL office

OR

Students can mutually select a specific roommate

Residential and Commuter Life will attempt to honor each student's housing preferences, but it is not possible for every student to receive his/her preferred building preference.  RCL will notify students regarding their housing assignment through the student's Longwood email account.
