Move-in day just got a lot easier! Longwood University has partnered with The Melvin Corporation to provide MicroFridge rentals to students living in on-campus housing. The MicroFridge unit consists of a two-door refrigerator and zero degree freezer along with a microwave oven, all in one integrated unit. Consider the advantage of not having to worry about fitting the unit into your (probably) over-packed vehicle. The full-service rental offering includes delivery of the unit to your room at the beginning of the academic year and removal at the end of the term. Lofts are only permitted in main campus residence halls.
A loft is simply defined as "a bunk bed with no lower bed." As an alternative to building your own, this OPTIONAL type of elevated, freestanding structure allows the student to have more floor space.
