Wheeler Hall houses Cormier Honors College students. While most students are first years, upperclassmen may choose to live in Wheeler.
First-year students are not required but strongly encouraged to live in Wheeler to benefit from a strong living-learning community.
Each floor has a study lounge and the 1st and 3rd floors have kitchen lounges that have been renovated recently.
All rooms are suite-style.
The first floor of Wheeler was renovated in 2021/22 including the Wheeler classroom, where many honors classes are held. The Wheeler classroom has flexible seating and new technology to get the most out of each course taught in that space.
Stevens Hall, located within feet of Wheeler Hall, houses our shared Honors spaces.
The first floor of Stevens Hall is where you will find all our Honors staff and faculty member, so there is almost always someone around to answer a question or troubleshoot a problem.
Comfortable seating is available for relaxing in between classes, studying for a test or waiting to meet with the Cormier Honors College staff.
This designated Honors space is located off of the Honors Lobby and is available for all your studying, printing, or group work needs. There are office supplies and a network printer where honors students can print for free.
Down the hall from Thinker-Maker-Creator Space is the Honors Lounge in Stevens 107. This is a favorite among students and staff because of the abundant natural light, comfortable seating, and available kitchenette.
There are two available PC’s and a series of partitioned desks that are perfect for studying and reading, as well as a full-sized poster printer for research posters.
The Quiet Study Carrels have a large table available for group project discussions and whiteboards to help brainstorm ideas.
