The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life is very excited to reveal the Spring 2020 Community Snapshot. Longwood’s Greek Community finished off the first of 2020  with some great events, even in the midst of a pandemic! 

2020 was the 123rd year that Greek life has been on Longwood University’s campus. This past fall, we had 683 active and contributing Greek members. Our organizations gained a total of 148 new members that are excited and ready to bring some great things to our community!

Our 23 chapters came up with creative ways to finish out the semester by participating in their chapter meetings, bonding, raising money and serving their communities in a mostly virtual format! 

While balancing everything, our Greeks still excel at academics! The overall Greek GPA raised up to an outstanding 3.14, higher than the all-campus average GPA. The chapter with the high GPA was Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc.
