Welcome to Greek Life!

Longwood University's Office of Fraternity & Sorority Life offers opportunities for students to get engaged, lead, learn and serve in the community.

Our office advises and provides guidance to the three governing councils:

  • College Panhellenic Council (CPC)
  • Interfraternity Council (IFC)
  • National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC)

We recognize 22 national Greek-letter fraternities and sororities, which make up 22 percent of our community. Students in these groups attain the highest level of academic achievement and, most importantly, uphold the Longwood Honor Code.

The Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life also oversees:

  • Order of Omega
  • Greeks for Change

Longwood's social fraternities and sororities promote:

  • Scholarship
  • Philanthropy
  • Brotherhood
  • Sisterhood
  • Social Activities

Each organization provides opportunities for its members to receive scholarships and grants based on academic merit and chapter leadership.

What differentiates these organizations from others is their lifetime membership. While the Greek experience is often focused on the college years, alumni members are essential to our organizations.
