Visit the Global Lancers Photo Contest page to participate and click on “Apply Now” to submit your images.
Each submitted photo must include a title, location, date, and a short caption. Each entrant may submit up to four entries (but no more than two entries per category). With the exception of images submitted in the Worldwide Lancer Pride category, photos must be the original work of the entrant. If the image was not taken by the entrant, the entrant must be depicted in the photograph. Submissions for Longwood through International Eyes, Lancers Abroad, and Global Learning must have been taken between Dec. 1, 2017, and Jan. 20, 2019. Submissions for Beyond High Street can date back to 2015. Images should be high resolution *.jpg, *.png, or *.tiff files. With the exception of submissions by international students to the Longwood through International Eyes and Worldwide Lancer Pride categories, all photos must have been taken outside the United States. Images will be judged by a panel made up of members of the Longwood community and will be evaluated with the following in mind: originality, technical merit, and representation of the international experience. Judges will be provided submitted photo titles, locations, and captions but not the names of entrants. Winners will be notified by mid-March.
We thank you for participating and look forward to seeing your perspectives.
