Longwood offers a one-time scholarship to be awarded annually to an eligible undergraduate student from Virginia to partially defray the cost of attendance. To be eligible, an applicant must demonstrate a personal and historical connection to slavery in Virginia or be a member of a specific community that has experienced the negative legacy born out of the institution of slavery.
Many other organizations offer private scholarship opportunities—we recommend considering these and other providers as well.
