Mission

The Department of Education and Counseling provides degrees with multiple pathways including licensure and endorsement at the undergraduate and graduate levels for traditional and post-traditional students to become education and counseling professionals.

We are equity-focused in our pursuit of cultivating citizen leaders who embrace the professional responsibility of serving as compassionate change agents and who apply intellectual curiosity, informed insight, culturally responsive practice, and critical thinking in their work as models and innovators in their field and community.
