Wendy Pulliam, MS, CCC-SLP is the Director of Clinical Education for the Communication Sciences and Disorders program. She graduated from the University of Kentucky in 1995 with a Bachelor of Health Sciences and received her Masters from Western Kentucky University in 2005 in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Wendy previously worked in the public school system in Lunenburg County as the SLP for grades Pre-K-12. Her experiences include working with children with articulation, language, swallowing, cognitive, social, hearing, voice and fluency disorders. She has an invested interest in the area of Alternative Augmentative Communication and children with severe disabilities.
Wendy also has a background in teaching science/math at a private school in North Carolina and worked briefly with the infant and toddler program before arriving at Longwood. While working with the Infant and Toddler program, She worked with children birth to three that had speech and language disorders.
