Dr. Parlier serves as Visiting Assistant Professor and Program Director for Reading, Literacy, and Learning. Dr. Parlier brings over 30 years of public school experiences to her work in higher education. Her experiences range from classroom teacher, elementary principal, and district level leadership in the area of literacy.
Dr. Parlier completed her undergraduate work in Special Education through James Madison University. She earned her Master of Arts degree at Pacific Lutheran University and Post Master’s Administrative Certification from Prairie View A. and M. University. After completing reading coursework through the University of Virginia, Dr. Parlier earned her Doctor in Education in Educational Leadership at Liberty University.
