Susan Lynch
Professor of Therapeutic Recreation

Dr. Susan Lynch serves as a Professor and Program and Internship Coordinator of the Therapeutic Recreation Program. Her research interests include evidence based practice interventions with individuals with physical impairments as well as assessment in leisure education. She is the Past Co-Chair for VASTRA (Virginia State Therapeutic Recreation Association).

Dr. Lynch possesses a Bachelor's degree in Secondary Education from Lubbock Christian University, a Master's degree from Texas Tech University in Sports Health/Medicine, and a Doctoral degree from Texas Woman's University in Therapeutic Recreation.

During her leisure, Dr. Lynch enjoys attending and supporting her church, flower gardening, cycling, and travelling annually to national and state parks.
