Doctor Brock-Servais is more commonly called Doc Brock.

Doc Brock's interests include Gothic and Horror in both children’s and young adult literature, Fairy Tales, and other traditional literature, adaptation, and historical children’s literature, especially from the late 19^th century.

She teaches:

ENGL 381: Young Adult Literature
ENGL 383: History of Literature Young Readers
ENGL 445: Special Topics in Children’s Literature
ENGL 446: Special Topics in Young Adult Literature

In addition to her teaching and research, Doc Brock is the Editor in Chief for the journal Children’s Literature in Education.
