Student with employer during an internship

Turn learning into experience.

Internships are structured learning experiences in professional settings, helping you apply classroom knowledge, build professional skills, and grow your network. More than 80% of Lancers complete an internship before graduation.

The Career Success Team is here to support you through every step of the process: from finding opportunities and preparing application materials to connecting with employers at career fairs. We also offer an unpaid internship stipend to help make these valuable experiences more accessible.

Local & Regional Resources

Please note: Please note that the job boards, search engines and external sites listed below and throughout our website are provided as a resource for students. Our career center does not endorse or guarantee employers, positions, or opportunities found through these platforms. Academic Credit for Internships

Some internships may be eligible for academic credit, but this must be arranged in advance through your department. Credit requirements vary by program, and not all departments offer internship credit.

Steps to take:

  • Contact your department’s internship coordinator or your academic advisor.
  • Review eligibility, requirements, and deadlines.
  • Secure approval before beginning your internship.
