Students selecting the Water Resources concentration will gain specialized knowledge and skills pertaining to the physical, ecological, and social aspects of the world’s water resources and learn how society can better manage this precious resource.

Students in the water resources concentration will explore the physical processes that control the movement of water above and below the surface of the Earth, in the atmosphere, and within the oceans, as well as investigate the organisms living within those waters.
Students will also dive into the complex relationship between humans and water, investigating how water has shaped society and how human decisions have affected water systems around the world.
