Dr. Kathy Gee, an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science, received Longwood's Junior Faculty Award of Excellence for her significant accomplishments as a researcher and educator.
Dr. Gee joined the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences in 2013 and has set herself apart as an educator, researcher, and colleague. Dr Gee has significantly contributed to the education of countless Longwood students through her research program evaluating water quality and rainwater harvesting systems, as well as through her innovative and engaging approach to teaching.
