How a Session Works

What to Expect from a Session: When you visit the Writing Center, you’ll meet with a friendly peer consultant who will:

  1. Listen and understand your assignment and goals
  2. Help you plan, brainstorm, and organize your ideas
  3. Provide feedback on structure, clarity, and writing style
  4. Guide you on evaluating sources and incorporating research
  5. Help you develop your writing skills for future assignments
