How a Session Works
What to Expect from a Session: When you visit the Writing Center, you’ll meet with a friendly peer consultant who will:
- Listen and understand your assignment and goals
- Help you plan, brainstorm, and organize your ideas
- Provide feedback on structure, clarity, and writing style
- Guide you on evaluating sources and incorporating research
- Help you develop your writing skills for future assignments
Our goal is to help you become a stronger, more confident writer—not just to improve one paper.
